Shopping for a Goose Down Comforter?
Comforters must be made from very soft interior material. While the exterior is usually made from cotton or polyester, the interior is what creates the high level of comfort. This is why some manufacturers have found that goose down can serve as very soft and warm material. A goose down comforter is a popular product in bedding and is often labeled as “100% hand plucked goose down, with no filler material.” A goose down comforter may be advertised as “Siberian goose down”, however Siberia is not actually known for its geese harvesting. This is simply a marketing label to specify very fine, soft material as if this is the material that kept Siberian geese cold even in the lowest of temperatures.
